I alfonsina

From childhood, Alfonsina Strada had a passion for cycling, so much so that she became a cyclist. She had to leave home, dress like a boy, and fight against social conventions to compete, but she managed to be the first female cyclist to participate in the Giro d'Italia (1924).
Known as the Queen of the Pedal, today she is a symbol of struggle and resistance.
