Max is only eight years old and he is not like other children. He lives inside himself, and the less he is bothered, the better. Max doesn't have friends, because no one understands him, and everyone, even the teachers and his own parents, want him to be different. Only I have him, as I've been his friend for five years. Now I know Max is in great danger, and only I can help him. The problem is that Max is the only one who can see and hear me. I'm very scared for him, and especially for myself. Max's parents say I'm an "imaginary friend." I hope by now you understand that I am not imaginary.
