Love is the fundamental concept that justifies the how, the why and the what for of a rhyming text so simple, yet so universal, close to childhood and accessible to readers of all ages and cultures. The poem is complemented by images exuberant in content and colors, where nature is present from beginning to end. Mariana Ruiz Johnson wanted to capture with this work her experience of motherhood from an artistic and literary approach. Blues, yellows, reds, greens... vivid, intense colors in harmonious contrast are captured on the pages of this album. Its content is inspired by the ornamental style of Latin American popular art. From a chromatic point of view, due to the expressive and poetic force of the illustrations, it also pays homage to painters such as Paul Klee.
