Hamlet— William Shakespeare

The characters and situations seem to be part of our present, in which we face, each in our own way, the same eternal dilemmas of Hamlet. And although we see the characters in period costume and speaking a very different language from ours, they are our contemporaries. This is the reason for the persistence of this work, which has hardly stopped being performed and read for four centuries.
