Where do the animals go?— Francisco Toledo

In 2010, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Oaxaca and the Almadía publishing house celebrated the seventieth birthday of painter Francisco Toledo by collaboratively publishing a collection of poems written about the artist's work and person, selected by Ernesto Lumbreras and Efraín Velasco.

In addition to being a celebration, this edition filled the gap left by the publication of Toledo: la línea metafórica, created by Miguel Flores Ramírez in 1998. With a modest print run and now considered a bibliographical rarity, this publication began to gather the works of poets seduced by the eroticized territory of the painter.
