On December 29, 2004, during a Callejeros rock band concert at the República de Cromañón venue, located in the Once neighborhood of Buenos Aires, a flare started a fire that killed almost two hundred young people and injured many more. The night before, Camila Fabbri had been at one of the band's three concerts that week.
In this book, the author reconstructs her own adolescence in the days leading up to and following the tragedy, in addition to gathering testimonies from survivors, victims' family and friends, and people who had no direct connection to the event. Fabbri's writing thus becomes a tool to contextualize an era; to construct a collage and a chorus of voices that shows what it was like to be a teenager at that time and to try to understand how it was possible to survive such a harsh episode.
