This series of text-visual works was developed over a year with the purpose of unlearning the myths of "regiomontaneidad" (Monterrey identity). The ideology of industrial progress and individualism—now an intrinsic part of the metropolitan identity—began as a political discourse driven by the business class: a century later, we push its counter-narrative through art and critical theory.
