It's a quarter past five in the afternoon in the apartment building at 5 Chicle Street. In a quick look at each apartment, from the ground floor to the attic, we discover a confused mouse, some greedy monkeys, chefs and readers; an owl, a cat fond of ornithology, the hippopotamus -sleeping?-; the black panther who knows the most about plants of her species and the family of spiders that make up the Arachnid Orchestra, all of them virtuosos of unusual instruments. Also living there are frogs, dogs, llamas, bats and the narrator. Every day –at the same time–, they show off their harmony and share a party on the rooftop. We are lucky enough to be invited to the event, where they will demonstrate their skills and share the things they have “worked on” throughout the story. A fun album that makes a visual impact from the first reading, whose illustrations have been highlighted at events such as the Bologna Children's Book Fair or the Young Illustrators Competition Golden Pinwheel for their vibrancy and color. First published in Spanish, it also received an honorable mention at the Book of the Year Award organized by IBBY Poland in 2019.
